LOS ANGELES — Christopher Scharff, CEO of DG Brands/Dreamgirl International announced newly appointed executives on Saturday at the DG Brands’ sales meeting in Los Angeles.
Tiffany Cartigiano has been promoted from national sales manager to director of global sales. In her new role, Cartigiano will assume sales leadership for all DG Brands divisions and in all U.S. and international territories, reporting to Scharff.
DG Sales executives and representatives will report to Cartigiano. For the past two years, Cartigiano has worked closely with DG Brands sales representatives and key customers by developing and implementing sales plans and supporting the achievement of these plans.
She has distinguished herself as a strong strategist and business development leader, the company said. Prior to joining DG Brands, Cartigiano spent her career in various production and sales positions for apparel companies, most recently with a division of the vertically-integrated, global apparel firm, LF USA (a division of the Li & Fung Group).
Concurrent with this move, Eric Ehrens, president of sales and major account sales representative, is transitioning to a new role as executive account representative for major DG Brands accounts.
The company says Ehrens has been an important team member with the DG Brands organization for the better part of two decades and has been instrumental in developing strong working relationships with the majority of its largest clients.
Moving forward, Ehrens will be responsible for building important retail businesses as well as representing some of DG Brand’s largest accounts. In this capacity, Ehrens will work closely with Cartigiano and the DG Brands team.
“Please join me in congratulating the individuals above on their new appointments,” said Christopher Scharff during the sales meeting.
