Evil Angel Raising Funds, Awareness for AIDS Walk L.A.

LOS ANGELES — The Evil Angel AIDS Walk team announced its participation in the 31st annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles set for Oct. 11.

The event is a 10-kilometer (6.2-mile) fundraising walk benefiting APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles) and more than 20 other L.A. County AIDS service organizations.

Evil Angel said this is its seventh walk in 2015. This year's the team includes several studio directors including Aiden Starr, Francesca Le, Mark Wood, Aiden Riley and Toni Ribis. Also on hand will be performers Abella Danger, Carter Cruise and Dahlia Sky, along with some dedicated Evil Angel staff.

Although out of town and unavailable the day of the walk, both Evil Angel founder John Stagliano and performer/director Manuel Ferrara will be doing their part, collecting donations as “virtual walkers.”

The company noted that is has twice been a Top-20 fundraising team, and managed to be a Top-40 fundraising team in just its second year.

By visiting the Team Evil page, supporters can track their progress and make donations in the name of a favorite Evil Angel AIDS Walk participant.

The company asks that people select the Star Walkers Club option when registering that sets a goal to raise at least $1,000. There is no penalty if less is raised, but there are perks if the goals are met or exceeded including an exclusive Star Walker Breakfast on the morning of the walk.

Once registered, a Sponsor Form can be downloaded from AidsWalk.net to keep track of collected cash and checks. There is also a personal Fundraising HQ, that helps collect online donations, keeps track of progress, sends out fundraising emails to several contacts at once, and more. After registering, AIDS Walk will email log-in information to access the HQ.

To register online, visit the Team Page and click the red “Join Our Team” button. To register by phone, call the AIDS Walk office at (213) 201-WALK (9255). Give the team name "Evil Angel – 1675" when registering.
