LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) announced that Adult Webcam Conference has become its newest Corporate Sponsor.
ASACP provides online businesses with a code of ethics and market-specific best practices, while its Restricted to Adults (RTA) website meta label helps prevent a minor’s unauthorized access to adult-oriented websites and mobile apps.
“It is important that all of us involved in the adult industry support the battle against child pornography and exposure to adult materials," said Adult Webcam Conference spokesperson Coralyn Jewel.
“ASACP is delighted to add Adult Webcam Conference to our family of sponsors,” ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning stated. “The adult webcam market is growing by leaps and bounds, and presents its own challenges in regards to online child protection, so it is vital that market leaders such as Adult Webcam Conference help in the mission to keep children out of and away from adult entertainment.”
A percentage of gross ticket sales from the upcoming Adult Webcam Conference and Awards Show in Las Vegas, being held Jan. 20-21, 2016, will be donated to the ASACP. Additional donations will be collected from attendees at the door, for those wishing to more directly support the association’s mission.
“We applaud Adult Webcam Conference’s creativity and generosity in financially supporting the association through a cut of ticket sales from its show, which draws industry professionals along with performers and fans to its popular event,” Henning said. “We hope that other B2B and B2C adult will likewise offer to help ASACP.”
“The adult entertainment industry is made up of a wide variety of companies,” Henning added. “Some of which are exemplary leaders among their peers, showing that ‘doing the right thing’ and earning profits can go hand in hand. Adult Webcam Conference is a shining example of how proactive responsibility and market leadership can successfully coexist.”
