CommerceGate Hires New Sales Vice President

LOS ANGELES — Internet payment service provider CommerceGate announced that it has hired Jeff Southworth as the vice president of North American sales.

Southworth comes to CommerceGate from Epoch where he held position the of director of marketing and sales for the past six years.

Prior to his experience in the adult entertainment industry e-commerce sector, Southworth spent years in mainstream marketing for Fortune 500 companies, including Bausch & Lomb and AT&T.

“Jeff comes to us with extensive knowledge and experience in the industry,” CommerceGate CEO Bjorn Skarlen said. “We’ve set some high goals for CommerceGate in the coming years. Jeff will be a guiding force as we seek to reach them all.”

Southworth will attend the Phoenix Forum along with the rest of the CommerceGate team.

“It’s great to be here,” Southworth said. “CommerceGate is an exceptional company with numerous options for program and paysite operators. I can’t wait to begin helping them gain an even stronger foothold in the business.”
