SEATTLE — Kheper Games’ recent redesign and relaunch of its THC game will make its motion picture debut at the Whistler Film Festival on Dec. 6, appearing in the movie “Dude, Where’s My Ferret?”
Kheper Games’ Potleaf Ashtray and Lords of Cannabis game also appear in the movie, but not as prominently, the company says.
“It is always fun and exciting when one of our games is featured and this will be our first prominent feature in a film that shows off the game board as well as the game box,” Kheper Games CEO Brian Pellham said. “Thank you to the production team of ‘Dude, Where’s My Ferret?’ for this great opportunity.”
THC is a psychedelic game of pot-themed challenges and dares. Players carry out various challenges as they pass through Mount Smokemore, Cannabis Forrest, Bong Meadows and MJ Thicket. The winner is the first player to reach the “Wellness” center at the end of the game board. Lords of Cannabis is a strategy game where players compete to build the largest pot plantations.
“Dude, Where’s My Ferret?” follows the story of Skeezix, a young stoner who fantasizes about winning a cannabis growing contest, but his dreams are jeopardized when he gets stuck babysitting his dream girl's mischievous ferret. The film features the voice of Mike Smith (Bubbles from “The Trailer Park Boys”) and is available online at DudeWheresMyFerret.com
