Brickhouse, Erica Campbell Sign Mobile Deal

DENVER — Adult star Erica Campbell has signed a multiyear deal with Brickhouse Mobile to produce custom content for mobile phones.

Under the deal, Brickhouse will offer ringtones, wallpaper and video clips for users around the world.

Users can access and purchase the content via their Internet-enabled mobile devices, and an exclusive Erica Campbell WAP site is currently in development.

Brickhouse President Clinton Fayling told XBIZ that the content will be tailored for mobile use according to region. For example, non-nude shots of Campbell will be available in the U.S., while softcore and topless content will be accessible in parts of Europe and the U.K., respectively.

Fayling said that mobile is an important platform for those around the world who don't have access to a computer or a high-speed Internet connection.

"The phone is a conduit to entertain in ways the U.S. has taken for granted," Fayling said.

Fayling urges that Brickhouse is not merely repurposing existing content; he said short clips and vignettes are being customized specifically for the mobile platform. Modifying shots for the small screen, as well as using contrasting colors and backgrounds, are some techniques Brickhouse uses to tailor its adult content.

Mobile also is a great way to expand a brand, Fayling said, and Campbell agrees.

"Moving into the mobile world will give me a new outlet to produce exclusive high-quality photos and videos for all of my fans," Campbell said. "I can't wait to bring them along with me on this exciting new venture."
