XBIZ Show Announces 2016 Speaker Lineup

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce its largest lineup of guest speakers to date for next week’s 2016 XBIZ Show, set for Jan. 12-15 at Andaz hotel in West Hollywood.

Presented by premier payments solutions company Epoch, the annual events series brings together industry pros and newcomers from international markets for four days of unparalleled insights, networking and deal-making opportunities, set against the scenic backdrop of the Hollywood Hills.

With a complete takeover of the Andaz hotel, XBIZ continues its tradition of industry-leading educational excellence, by delivering its most extensive slate of sessions presented by today’s foremost thought leaders.

Exploring current and emerging trends in cams, mobile, traffic, legal, web technologies, the current state of the adult entertainment industry and far beyond, this year’s events series presents the following panels, sponsored by NETbilling.

Wednesday, Jan. 13, kicks off with a look at “The Future of Adult E-Commerce,” from 10-10:50 a.m., with Bob Christian from Adam & Eve, Gamelink’s Jeff Dillon and Bonnie Feingold of Honey’s Place in an executive session moderated by Kim Airs of GrandOpening.com.

Then from 1-1:50 p.m., XBIZ will examine 2016’s “Mobile Revolution: Marketing & Monetization,” with a panel of experts including Affil4You’s Joey Gabra, BrokerBabe’s Stefan Muehlbauer and Jen McEwen from MiKandi, plus Andy Wullmer of Sex Goes Mobile and Lernmond Khodaverdy of Twistbox, with Glispa’s Nancy Roberts serving as moderator.

Also in the 1-1:50 p.m. time slot, XBIZ will present a series of exclusive workshops, including “Women in Porn: Executives Shaping Erotica,” with Kelly Holland leading a panel of performers who have worked both sides of the camera, including jessica drake, Kelly Shibari and Jacky St. James; while a tech-forward look at “Hosting: Emerging Solutions & Technologies,” will feature experts Bryan Larkin of Filthy Donkey, MojoHost’s Brad Mitchell and Steven Daris of Red Apple Media.

Also on tap is “Anti-Piracy: Rights Owners Fight Back,” with Jason Tucker of Battleship Stance, DigiRegs’ Mark Bauman, Peter Phinney of PiracyStopsHere and Nate Glass from Takedown Piracy.

The business of live cams is discussed in a presentation by AWE called, “Promoting Interactivity With LiveJasmin”.

From 2-2:50 p.m., a discussion of “Traffic Trends: Networks, Search & Beyond,” hits the stage with the moderation of AdCirc’s Eric Helsel guiding an all-star ensemble, including Sara Mallie of EroAdvertising, Luke Hazelwood of Grand Slam Media, Alex Lecomte from JuicyAds, Sean Christian of Revolution Force, Jake from TrafficHaus and Rémi St-Maur of Traffic Stars.

Workshops scheduled for 2-2:50 p.m. include “Porn Star 2.0: Evolution of the Adult Performer,” hosted by Vicky Vette and featuring Casey Calvert, Carter Cruise, Dani Daniels, Jessica Drake, Chanel Preston and Tasha Reign; while Forrest Black from Spooky Cash and Vuier’s Mark R. will take a current look at “Content Delivery: Presentation, Usability & Beyond.”

“Live Cam Models: Selling Intimate Interactivity” also will be dicussed in a special presentation by Chaturbate’s Shirley Lara, Flirt4Free’s Jamie Rodriguez and Anthony from LALExpo; while MiKandi will explore “The Future of Mobile Porn Apps” with Jen McEwen.

The cam conversation continues from 3-3:50 p.m. as a distinguished panel of webcam experts explores “Live Cams: The Future of Interactivity.” Moderated by Anthony from LALExpo, this information packed session features Jean-Marie Kesch of AWE/LiveJasmin, Courtney Rudolph of Cams.com, Douglas Richter of CamsPower, Chaturbate’s Shirley Lara, Jeff Wilson from Flirt4Free and Eric Wexel of FreeWebcams.com, plus Shay Efron from PussyCash, and Streamate’s Yuval Kijel.

Four more exclusive workshops are set for the 3-3:50 p.m. time slot, targeting a variety of special topics, including “Porn Genres: What’s Hot Now & What’s Next” and “Affiliate Marketing: A 2016 Snapshot,” with Joey Gabra of Affil4You, LeRoy Rowland from JAV Bucks and Mr. Skin’s Sam Rakowski.

APAC will provide a look “Inside the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee,” while TrafficHaus presents a technical overview of “Targeting Premium Consumers.”

The day’s final session, from 4-4:50 p.m., is the Visionary Keynote by NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti, who will discuss “The Future of Adult Digital Media.”

The second day of seminars, Thursday, Jan. 14, gets underway from 10-10:50 a.m. with a look at “Teledildonics: The Future of Interactive Toys,” with Fleshlight’s Brian Shubin, John McCoy of Intimuse, Toon Timmermans from Kiiroo and Brian Dunham of OhMiBod. The session will be moderated by Greg Piccionelli.

From 11-11:50 a.m., a Visionary Keynote will be presented by Bruce and Melody Murison as they discuss “The Future of Pleasure Products,” while Neal Slateford and Richard Longhurst will discuss “The Future of Adult Retail” in a Visionary Keynote from 12-12:50 p.m.

The workshops continue from 12-12:50 p.m., with Grooby Productions presenting “Trans Porn: Growing Out of the Shadows,” while Huge Ape Media’s Mark “Biz” Selibi tackles “Web Dev: Building Future-Proof Adult Sites.”

Lauren MacEwen of 7 Veils and Pete Housley of  Star.xxx will discuss “Social Media: Maximizing Reach & Engagement,” while Chaturbate presents “Conquering Cam Marketing,” filling up the 12-12:50 p.m. slot.

Next up, from 1-1:50 p.m., is “Billing: The Future of Online Payment Processing,” moderated by XBIZ’s Stephen Yagielowicz, and featuring CCBill’s Gary Jackson and Epoch’s Frank Gannon, plus Mobius Payments’ Mia Zhu, with Wendy Nelson of NETBilling, OrbitalPay’s Karen Campbell, SegPay’s Cathy Beardsley, Doug Wicks of Payze and Vendo Services’ Pedro Sosa.

Several high-impact workshops also will be held from 1-1:50 p.m., including Free Speech Coalition producers meeting titled, “Content Production Today,” while Alexander “Monstar” Raymond of Star Factory along with Mike Kulich of Stuner PR will present “Porn PR: Putting Your Best Foot Forward.”

The highly anticipated “VR Porn: Technologies, Solutions & Realities” workshop, featuring Fabian Grey of AliceX, Todd Glider from BaDoink, HoloFilms’ Anna Lee and Ela Darling of VRTube.xxx will offer a look at the cutting edge of adult content; while AdultShopping will detail its ecommerce marketing platform for manufacturers, retailers and Internet marketers in a focused moneymaking session.

Headlining the next set of sessions from 2-2:50 p.m. is a special FSC- sponsored panel discussion of the “Legal Issues Impacting Adult Entertainment,” hosted by noted attorney Jeffrey Douglas and featuring Fiona Patten of the Eros Association and the Australian Sex Party, along with attorneys Karen Tynan and Jonathan Gottfreid.

Also scheduled for 2-2:50 p.m. are the final workshops for the 2016 XBIZ Show with Cybersocket.com presenting a panel of gay industry leaders who will discuss “Gay Porn: Current Business Trends, Issues,” while Jo Merlone of KiwiSourcing, Kristen Kaye of KSquared Dynamics and Leah Mahi of XBIZ will explore “Branding in Adult: Building Awareness, Trust.”

Adult Empire’s Colin Allerton, Sugar Instant's Yashar Ahmadpour and GameLink’s Jeff Dillon will join forces for a look at “VOD: Working With On-Demand Content Networks,” while CamBuilder’s Yuval Kijel, Dating Factory’s Jenny Gonzales and William Soares from HubPeople will discuss “White Labels: The Easy Way to Start-Up Success,” finishing this year’s collection of workshops.

Next up, from 3-3:50 p.m., the XBIZ “State of the Industry” session will take a look at the year ahead, with FuckBook’s Greg Dumas leading a panel that includes Cherry Pimps’ Jack Avalanche, Flirt4Free’s Greg Clayman, Utherverse's Brian Shuster, Hustler’s Tony Cochi, Steve Winyard of ICM Registry, Mitch Farber of NETbilling, Vivid’s Michael Klein and Wasteland’s Colin Rowntree.

Then from 4-4:50 p.m., Penthouse President Kelly Holland will present an exclusive Visionary Keynote on “The Future of Adult Content,” wrapping up the day’s educational sessions.

Finally, on Friday, Jan. 15, from 11-11:50 a.m., XBIZ will present its first Icon Interview, featuring an intimate conversation with the founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment Group, Steven Hirsch, who will discuss his extraordinary career and share his personal views on the current state and future of the industry.

Crowning the events series will be the awards event of the year, the 2016 XBIZ Awards show, presented by LiveJasmin and hosted by adult superstar Stoya, set for Jan. 15 at the J.W. Marriott at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
