Maleflixxx Announces People’s Choice Award Nominees

TORONTO — Global gay video-on-demand portal Maleflixxx has announced the slate of nominees for its 2007 People’s Choice Award. For the third year in a row, the award winners as voted by the fans, will be announced onstage during the 2007 Grabby Awards in Chicago.

Maleflixxx spokesman Shane Carter said the award nominees are chosen via viewer response, overall production quality and the strength of each production’s erotic content.

Public voting for the award runs March 26 through April 22. There is no purchase necessary for fans to cast their votes, but they must register for a free Maleflixxx account.

Additionally, Maleflixxx is running a promotion until March 31 for a VIP Getaway for two to the Grabbys, including return airfare, accommodations and prime seating.

This year’s nominees are:

  • “Bonesaw” (Adonis Pictures)
  • “The Chest” (Titan Media)
  • “College Cocks” (High Octane Ltd.)
  • “Doggie Style” (Jet Set Productions)
  • “Fire Dance” (Kristen Bjorn)
  • “Fire Island Cruising 8” (Lucas Entertainment)
  • “Justice” (Hot House Entertainment)
  • “No Cover” (Rascal Video)
  • “The School for Lovers” (Lucas Kazan)
  • “Young Gods” (Blue Blake)
  • “We are proud to once again put the fans in control of the Maleflixxx People’s Choice Award,” Eric Johnson, president of Sureflix, and owner and operator of the Maleflixxx global network, said. “The nominated studios can be proud of this acknowledgement that comes directly from their most important audience — the fans.”
