PRAGUE — Director William Higgins, a pioneer of gay erotica, has returned to Catalina Video, the company he founded in the late 1970s, and will direct new titles.
The Los Angeles-based C1R, which acquired Catalina Video in 2007, will release “Uncut and Raw,” Higgins’ first new Catalina title in two decades. “Uncut and Raw” will be available for purchase at C1R.com.
Higgins’ classic films include “The Boys of Venice” in 1978, “Pacific Coast Highway” in 1981, “Sailor in the Wild” in 1983, “Frat House Memories” in 1984, “The Young & the Hung” in 1985, “Big Guns” in 1987, and “Down Under” in 1989.
Higgins now lives in Prague, Czech Republic and continues to direct for his site WilliamHiggins.com
