Bijoux Indiscrets 'Kristine' Mask Appears in Oscars Performance

BARCELONA — “Kristine” vinyl masks from Bijoux Indiscrets were used in The Weeknd’s performance of his Oscars-nominated song “Earned It” at last month’s Academy Awards.

“Earned it,” which appears on the “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack, was nominated for Best Original Song.

According to the company, “Fatima Robinson, the choreographer for the performance of “Earned it” at the ceremony, chose Kristine, our vinyl mask, to give that aura of sensuality and mystery that so mark the song and the film, for the dancers’ look.”

The vinyl masks by Bijoux Indiscrets adapt to all faces, can be reused, and allow total freedom of movement. The masks do not need to be tied, and therefore will not mess up your hair.

Bijoux Indiscrets’ mask collection features six styles. They are applied to one’s face as stickers and are flexible. The masks are customizable — the material can be cut to the wearer’s liking and can be worn in different positions. Each mask is designed to not obstruct the wearer’s sight.
