BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Hustler Hollywood is opening a new store later this month in Bakersfield, Calif.
The new location, opening March 26, represents the chain's 16th location and first for the chain in the San Joaquin Valley. Bakersfield is California’s ninth largest city and has a population of 375,000.
The Bakersfield Hustler Hollywood will be similar to others — "upscale, modern erotic boutique dedicated to providing a sophisticated shopping experience for the sexually curious" as described by Hustler founder Larry Flynt.
“We’ve had our eye on this market for a while, and think the community is really going to be excited, and even a little surprised,when it sees the wide variety of high-quality merchandise lining our shelves," Flynt said in a release.
Adult star August Ames will join Flynt for ribbon cutting on opening night, which is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. Hustler Hollywood said the evening’s activities will include drinks, food and games, as well as prizes and gift bags.
The new Hustler Hollywood is located at 3601 Ming Ave., Bakersfield 93309.
