Doc Johnson Wins 'Manufacturer of the Year' at Adultex

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Doc Johnson was awarded the title of Manufacturer of the Year at the 2016 Adultex Awards.

The show, presented by Calvista, took place at RACV Royal Pines Resort in Australia’s Gold Coast. The annual event celebrates outstanding achievements by members of the pleasure product community and is described as “the largest gathering of adult industry manufacturers and retailers in the Southern Hemisphere.”

“I speak for all of us at Doc Johnson when I say that we’re exceptionally honored to receive this esteemed level of recognition,” said Scott Watkins, Doc Johnson’s vice president of sales and marketing.

He added, “The growth and development of Doc Johnson over the years, particularly this past year, has been extraordinary; this award helps support that. Thank you to our customers, partners and supporters, and the dedicated team at Calvista, who hosted another incredibly successful Adultex show. The Doc Johnson brand has received overwhelming support from our global customer base, and we look forward to even more growth and success in the future.”

Now in its 12th year, the Adultex B2B trade show highlights the new adult products, including toys, cosmetic products, fetish and lingerie ranges. Attendees have the opportunity to meet the world leaders in adult products, while seeing new products and concepts that help grow their businesses.
