Contnet AG Introduces Roman Becker as New Member of Board

MUNICH — Contnet AG, a division of the TrafficPartner Group that operates MobileBilling.com, said today that Roman Becker has become a new member of the company’s board.

With the announcement, Becker will join another board member, Günther Banholzer, in leading the company.

The Munich-based company said that Becker will bring his “wealth of experience and technical know-how to promote the acquisition of new customers.”

“Mr. Becker will lead the business unit carrier billing immediately,” the company said.

Becker previously worked with numerous mobile payment providers in the area of sales and product development.

Contnet is one of the leading German providers for mobile business and mobile billing, offering a full-service portfolio of payment and technical solutions.

The company offers a “high-performance, modular platform with extreme scalability” for mobile premium-rate services. The platform enables delivery, download and billing of content to mobile-end customers.

Contnet said that direct contracts with common carriers and service providers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria enable it to plan and realize individual and flexible distribution mechanics as well as billing options. Gateways for further international carriers and service providers are currently in the pipeline.

Becker can be reached at roman.becker@mobilebilling.com.
