Maleflixxx Rallies Studios in Support of FSC

TORONTO — Gay adult video-on-demand distributor Maleflixxx will host a fundraiser in support of the Free Speech Coalition.

Maleflixxx's Shane Carter said that the company has invited its studio partners to donate all royalties to the FSC on Friday, and Maleflixxx will match the total amount in a separate FSC donation to be made in early April.

"We saw this as an opportunity to build a relationship with [FSC]," Maleflixxx's Shane Carter told XBIZ. "We've already had a very positive response from some of the larger industry leaders. The more successful [the fundraising], the better."

The FSC is a nonprofit corporation that acts as an adult industry lobbyist and works to promote tolerance for free sexual speech and the industry as a whole. The organization is funded entirely by member dues and fundraising efforts.

Eric Johnson, president of Maleflixxx parent company Sureflix Digital Distribution, said that his company recognizes the importance of the work being done by the FSC on behalf of the adult entertainment community.

"This is an important initiative and we are proud to lead our valued studio partners in the fight against restrictive legislation," Johnson said.
