NEW YORK — Rick's Cabaret in New York City will be celebrating Fleet Week by offering free admission and drink specials for military servicemen in uniform from May 24-30. More than 5000 members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines and U.S. Coast Guard will be in New York City during Fleet Week.
"I'm a big fan of the military," said Avaya, one of the performers at the Manhattan gentlemen's club. "I want them to know how much I appreciate what they do for all of us. I can't wait to meet them all."
Lindsay, another Rick's Cabaret New York showgirl, said she will be wearing a red, white and blue g-string.
"I will be doing patriotic lap dances," Lindsay said.
Lola, also a Rick's Cabaret New York showgirl, said, "Our famous chef, Franklin Edwards, is adding some special items to the menu, including old-fashioned apple pie. I hope it reminds the boys of home."
Ricks' Cabaret New York is located at 50 W. 33rd St. in Mid-Town Manhattan across the street from the Empire State Building and only a block from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.
