BBWCon Uses Snapchat As Promotional Tool

LAS VEGAS — BBWCon is using Snapchat, a mobile messaging application for sharing photos, videos and text, to promote itself. A convention for the BBW adult industry and its fans, BBWCon will be held at Alexis Park in Las Vegas from Jul. 22-24.

"Currently, BBWCon's own snapchat, BBWCon, is having a model takeover," a spokesperson for the event said. "Every few days, a new model who has a booth at BBWCon takes over the snapchat and allows fans to get to know them better and enjoy seeing them having fun and promoting not only this event, but their own projects and social media. So far, models Breanna, Kaleena Skye, Ms. Thang and Ashley Heart have all taken over. Currently, Canadian model Jessie Rabbit is at the controls and snapping herself in the sauna, bed, and at the movies with fellow BBW starlet Mandy Majestic."

More than 70 BBW models, according to a representative, have signed up to attend BBWCon and the Biggie Awards, to be held during the convention on Jul. 23.

"We are trying to maximize every aspect of social media to get the word out," said BBWCon promoter Clint Works. "Being able to cross-promote the event with models not only gives our event exposure, but it also gives fans a variety of models to get to know better."
