LONDON —The Naked Truth Film Club will screen “Respectable: The Mary Millington Story” at a theater in London before the UKAP Awards on Tues., Sept. 27.
Directed by Simon Sheridan, the film focuses on the life of Mary Millington — a British porn star of the 1970s. Millington, born in 1945, modeled for British adult magazines such as Knave, Whitehouse and Men Only and performed in adult films that included “Miss Bohrloch” in 1970, “Sex Is My Business” in 1974 and “Erotic Inferno” in 1975.
Millington was 33 when she committed suicide in 1979.
The presentation of the film will be followed by a Q&A session.
The Naked Truth Film Club, a spokesperson said, “was set up by Terry Stephens as a platform to engage the adult industry with the media and public to give insight into the adult industry.” Its sponsors include AdultWork.com, Pay4.xxx and XCreds.com.
