Good Vibrations Celebrates 10 Years in Boston Area, Opens New Store

SAN FRANCISCO — Sex toy retailer Good Vibrations this past Saturday celebrated its 10th year at its Brookline, Mass., location.

The Brookline store, one of the chain’s 10 locations, is in the Coolidge Corner shopping district of Boston.

Also on Saturday, the brand new Good Vibrations Cambridge location opened its doors for business directly across from Harvard University on JFK Boulevard.

Carol Queen, Good Vibrations’ staff sexologist and antique vibrator museum curator, said: "It’s indeed an historic day for Good Vibrations as we take root in the rich culture of Harvard Square.

“We’ve had the honor for many years of lecturing and sharing our sex-positive educational programming at Cambridge colleges and so look forward to becoming part of the neighborhood and continuing those wonderful relationships,” Queen said.

Jackie Rednour-Bruckman, company executive vice president, added, “We are so proud to be opening the ninth location for Good Vibrations and our second store in the Boston area after celebrating a decade of being a bi-coastal brand.”

“Our staff has worked extra hard, our vendors have been supportive, and most of all, our fantastic customers are now served by two stellar locations to bring more sex positivity, quality products, and trusted information their way,” she said.

“We are so grateful for all the support we have received from our loyal customers over the years in Brookline and are excited to share our Harvard Square location with tourists and locals alike.”

Good Vibrations, retailing for about four decades, has 10 retail stores in San Francisco; Berkeley, Calif.; Oakland, Calif.; Palo Alto, Calif.; and Santa Cruz, Calif. (Good Vibrations at Camouflage), along with Cambridge, Mass., and Brookline, Mass.

It also has an online store at GoodVibes.com
