Girlsway, Pretty Dirty Receive 37 XBIZ Awards Nominations

LOS ANGELES — Gamma Films’ production studios and content websites Girlsway and Pretty Dirty have scored 37 nominations in the 2017 XBIZ Awards, to be held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles and hosted by Ron Jeremy.

Girlsway received 31 nominations for its lesbian films, including Studio of the Year. Six Girlsway films were nominated for All-Girl Feature of the Year: “Clairvoyance,” “Little Red,” “Missing,” “Project Pandora,” “Telepathy” and “Vegas Sins.”

“Little Red” picked up nine nominations, and “Missing” picked up seven.

Girlsway's performers were recognized as well, with six nominations for Best Actress: Feature. Perfomers nominated include Cassidy Klein for “Little Red” and “Telepathy,” Cherie DeVille for “Project Pandora,” Dahlia Sky for “Vegas Sins” and Riley Reid  for “Missing.”

“I am simply blown away by the recognition that we have received this year from the folks at XBIZ,” said Bree Mills, Girlsway’s creator and head of production at Gamma Films. “Alan and my focus has always been to do something different with lesbian erotica, and having six of our films nominated in the Best All-Girl Feature category is proof that our difference has made a difference. I am also exceptionally proud of our actresses.”

Pretty Dirty received six nominations, including Best New Studio. Its “Sugarbabies: A Cautionary Tale” was nominated for Feature Movie of the Year, and other “Sugarbabies”-related nominations include Stills by Alan for Director of the Year, Penny Pax for Best Actress: Feature and Jessy Jones for Best Sex Scene: Feature and Best Supporting Actor.

“I am humbled and honored to have received 36 XBIZ nominations for the work Bree and I have done on Girlsway and Pretty Dirty,” Stills by Alan said. “There are a lot of extremely talented people in this industry doing some amazing work, and to be counted amongst the best is quite an honor. Thank you so much, XBIZ.”
