NEW YORK — Jaime Edmondson, Playboy’s January 2010 Playmate of the month who is married to Tampa Bay Rays third-baseman Evan Longoria, is suing the Gentleman’s Quarters on Long Island for posting a photo of her on the strip club’s Facebook page and insinuating she works there.
At Brooklyn federal court, court papers filed today allege defamation and trademark violation for the photos that depict the toned former Miami Dolphins cheerleader wearing a shirt rolled up to reveal the underside of her breasts.
“This image depicts Edmondson in a sexually suggestive outfit and was intentionally altered to make it appear that Edmondson was either a stripper working at Gentlemen’s Quarters, or that she endorsed the club,” the suit said.
Edmondson filed a similar suit earlier this year against Queens strip club Sugardaddy’s, according to the New York Daily News, which first reported on the suit.
