LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announced Suki and Brian Dunham, founders of sexual health and lifestyle innovator OhMiBod, will deliver the pleasure products keynote at XBIZ 2017.
Slated for Thursday, Jan. 12 at 11 a.m., Suki and Brian Dunham will co-present a unique keynote address examining industry trends, progressive strategies, and more, that are defining today’s interactive products marketplace, and what lies ahead for the business as a whole, with an informative and inspirational keynote session.
"We are honored to have been asked to be the keynote speakers at XBIZ 2017,” said Suki Dunham. “OhMiBod celebrated its 10 year anniversary this past year and this event provides us with a great opportunity to share what we have learned over that time period and to take stock in where we believe our industry is headed."
Since launching in 2006, OhMiBod has skyrocketed to fame as a pioneer in the design and manufacture of technology-enabled products and creator of the firstever iPod “acsexsory.”
The story behind the brand begins with its founder, Suki Dunham — who previously worked for Apple in product marketing, in addition to maintaining a marriage of 22 years and raising two children. The concept for OhMiBod originated in 2004 when Suki’s husband Brian bought her a Christmas present that consisted of a new iPod along with a new vibrator.
It wasn't long before the ex-Apple product marketing exec thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if I could pair these two, and create one truly amazing dual-sensory experience?" And with that, OhMiBod was born and embodies the love and passion that the Dunhams have for each other, as well as the industry they serve.
A pioneering sex tech brand, OhMiBod has stayed at the forefront of innovation, pushing forward the industry’s movement towards teledildonics and wearable devices. OhMiBod this week rolled out a software developers kit that will allow developers to use its platform to create apps to continue to take intimacy to new heights. The OhMiBod SDK will support the blueMotion line of Bluetooth enabled products.
Other notable OhMiBod creations include OhMiBod’s TASL (The Art of Science and Love) app that was introduced last year. TASL, when paired with the Lovelife Krush kegel exerciser, helps women improve their PC muscle fitness. OhMiBod’s Lovelife Krush won Engadget’s 2016 Best of CES award for digital health and fitness.
