Uberlube to Showcase Long-Lasting Formula at SHE L.A.

Uberlube to Showcase Long-Lasting Formula at SHE L.A.

LOS ANGELES — Uberlube will be exhibiting its silicone-based personal lubricant at the next Sexual Health Expo (SHE), to be held this Saturday, Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 5 at the California Market Center (CMC) in Los Angeles.

“Uberlube makes sex better for everyone by reducing friction, not sensation,” said John Epler, an Uberlube account executive. “(Uberlube) features long-lasting performance and (uses) simple, body- and condom-friendly ingredients. Uberlube dissipates when no longer needed, (with) no sticky residue."

Uberlube, Epler said, is “great for partner play and ideal for vaginal and anal play. (Uberlube) is scent- and color-free and made in the USA.”

Uberlube, created by Stephen Magnuson, was launched in Chicago in 2002. The brand is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.

“Today, we continue to batch, test and bottle Uberlube in our Chicago-area facility with our own workers,” an Uberlube spokesperson said. “Currently, only three people know the Uberlube formula, and at least two of them make every small batch we produce. Everyone at Uberlube cares about our product, and it shows.”

An important reason for Uberlube’s success, a representative said, is the company’s insistence on sticking to lubricants rather than manufacturing a wide variety of products.

“Here at Uberlube, all we do is make Uberlube,” a spokesperson said. “We believe in focus and simplicity — not just in our products, but also, in how we do business. Rather than modeling our approach on the restaurant that serves 50 mediocre food options, we are focused on doing one thing right every time: producing the best personal lubricant on the market.”

Veteran sexologist Dr. Ruth Westheimer will give the keynote address for SHE L.A. 2017 on Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Other prominent sexperts who will be featured at this weekend’s gathering include Dr. Ava Cadell, Tristan Taormino, Ducky DooLittle, Reid Mihalko, Allison Moon, Elle Chase, Orpheus Black, Hernando Chaves and Wicked Pictures contract performer Jessica Drake.

The California Market Center is located at 110 E. 9th St. near Main St. in Downtown Los Angeles.
