Justin Sayne Leather to Showcase Designer BDSM Gear at SHE L.A.

LOS ANGELES — Justin Sayne Leather will be exhibiting an assortment of BDSM and fetish products at this weekend’s Sexual Health Expo (SHE), to be held Feb. 4- 5 at the California Market Center (CMC) in Los Angeles. SHE L.A. 2017 will mark the Arizona-based company’s first time exhibiting at a SHE event.

Justin Sayne Leather, founded by designer Justin Sayne, manufactures high-quality fetish attire as well as whips, floggers, paddles, slappers, restraints and other BDSM toys. Sayne uses materials that range from alligator and crocodile to cowhide.

“What we’ve done for SHE is get a huge table set-up — even bigger than we’d originally thought — because we want people coming to the show to experience a real variety of our alligator, crocodile and latigo cowhide leather cuffs, textured spanking paddles and other stuff they can choose from,” said Tiffany Plunkett, a spokesperson for Justin Sayne Leather. “Sensation play is a big turn-on for most people, even if they don’t know it yet. So I’m psyched that I was able to (feature) a new style of flogger just in time to debut for the Sexual Health Expo.”

Veteran sexologist Dr. Ruth Westheimer will give the keynote address for SHE L.A. 2017 on Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Other prominent sexperts who will be featured at this weekend’s gathering include Dr. Ava Cadell, Reid Mihalko, Tristan Taormino, Ducky DooLittle, Allison Moon, Elle Chase, Orpheus Black, Hernando Chaves and Wicked Pictures contract performer Jessica Drake.

“This is Justin Sayne’s first time at SHE,” Plunkett said. “Can I say how freaking excited I am to see Dr. Ruth Westheimer? She was the one person who was speaking openly and honestly about sex, sex play and sexual health way before it was cool. She started the conversation, and she did it with a smile. I couldn’t do what I do without her having been out there, making people feel OK about experimenting with sex.”

Justin Sayne Leather experienced considerable growth in 2016. Carla L. Brimhall, who spent 12 years at Hearst Publications and was a managing editor at Car and Driver Magazine, came on board as general manager — and Clint Strunk was hired as director of sales and marketing. Brimhall joined Sayne’s team as a publicist.

The California Market Center is located at 110 E. 9th St. near Main St. in Downtown Los Angeles.
