LubeZilla Releases Infographic on Vaginal Dryness

LOS ANGELES — LubeZilla has released an infographic titled, “Why Can’t I Get Wet: The Truth About Vaginal Dryness in Women,” which seeks to “support women by providing ways to treat the common problem and encourage healthy discussions.”

“Vaginal dryness is a common concern for millions of females around the world, most commonly characterized by vaginal itchiness or burning, painful intercourse, persistent UTIs (urinary tract infections) and even diminished sex drive,” said a LubeZilla spokesperson. “Three out of four women indicate that they have trouble with their natural lubrication system throughout the post-menopausal phase, and nearly one in five pre-menopausal women report experiencing symptoms of the problem.”

According to the infographic, there are several common causes of vaginal dryness: prescribed medications — such as birth control pills — can interfere with a woman’s natural hormonal balance, leading to phases of dryness, and negative emotions — such as stress and even boredom from lack of work — can also affect a woman’s ability to produce natural lubricant.

The infographic then goes on to discuss the serious health problems that can arise when the dryness is left untreated: ignoring the problem puts women at risk for vaginal infections, incontinence and more dangerous issues, such as permanent damage to kidneys.

LubeZilla completes the infographic by delivering various ways to combat vaginal dryness – including the use of a body-safe, water-based lubricant to make intercourse much more enjoyable.
