ASACP Honors Its Featured Sponsors for March

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its Featured Sponsors for the month of March 2017.

ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning says the association’s Featured Sponsors rank among the industry’s most celebrated and successful companies, offering inspiration to their business peers as examples of self-regulation, corporate responsibility, and ethical operation.

“Honoring the association’s Featured Sponsors highlights the industry leaders that commit to the cause of online child protection,” Henning says. “As a non-profit association, ASACP survives on the generosity of its sponsors to continue its 20-plus-year record of success, and without their help, we would not be able to carry on our tireless mission.”

This record of success is crowned by ASACP’s internationally recognized Child Exploitation Tipline that has processed more than one million CP reports since its inception. Other highlights include the popular Restricted To Adults (RTA) meta labeling system that prevents children’s access to adult-oriented web pages and mobile apps; as well as the association’s free educational tools, such as its market-specific Best Practices and universal Code of Ethics.

For March, ASACP recognizes CAM4, Saboom/PartnerCash, and PornDoe, as its latest Featured Sponsors, signifying their ongoing support of the association and its gratitude for the continuing commitment shown by these companies to making the internet safer for children.

CAM4
An ASACP Title Sponsor that has supported the association since 2011, CAM4 is careful about online child protection because it operates live webcam sites, where minors may not only attempt to access these sites but by misrepresenting their age, attempt to become paid performers. The global nature of this business (with varying documentation in different jurisdictions) and the physical separation between the company and its contractors, make it a daunting proposition to ensure that performers, let alone viewers are of a legal age. Because of these challenges, ASACP offers a customized set of Best Practices tailored to the specific needs of live cam site operators, which CAM4 benefits from.

CAM4 takes additional measures such as the use of the RTA label to block children from its site, which illustrates the company’s caring, proactive approach to keeping children safe. These steps also include a warning page overlay that notifies viewers that no CP is present on the site and warns that anyone posting or seeking underage material would be reported to authorities, with the company aiding in the prosecution of these users — sending a clear message that it will not tolerate children accessing or being displayed on the CAM4 site.

Saboom/PartnerCash
An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2012, PartnerCash helps protects children online in part by using Restricted To Adults meta labeling to help secure sites such as its flagship property “Saboom,” which brings the next generation of interactivity to adult entertainment and demonstrates the company’s long-term “here to stay” vision.

Founded in 1999 by two brothers who had a vision of creating the first affiliate platform targeting the German market, PartnerCash provides innovative services to help webmasters earn as much revenue as possible from referrals, and has earned a reputation for reliability and innovation that has driven it forward to success in the international arena, all while protecting children.

PornDoe
An ASACP Corporate Sponsor since 2015, PornDoe is an adult oriented video tube site that provides free content for adults only. As such, the company is on the frontline of the need for child protection — a responsibility that PornDoe takes seriously. This includes making use of the RTA meta label to prevent unauthorized access to its flagship site by minors, along with taking extra steps to ensure that its site only displays legal content.

“Even more than being just legal, the most important role of the adult industry is to protect children from a problem that is still haunting us today: child pornography and abuse,” says Project Manager Nelson Do Nascimento. “PornDoe only works with adult companies that share this important point of view, cooperating against this very serious matter.”

This is a fine example of how the adult industry works to end the scourge of child exploitation and is typical of how March’s Featured Sponsors illustrate the proactive steps taken by today’s premium adult entertainment sites to keep children away from age-restricted materials.

“ASACP’s Featured Sponsors are stellar examples of proactive corporate leadership,” Henning notes. “By supporting ASACP and its mission, these companies help to raise awareness and protect children, moving the industry towards a safer future for youth and business alike.”
