ThePleasureChest.com Has Brand New Look With Plenty of Features

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Pleasure Chest this afternoon rolled out a new online look with flagship site ThePleasureChest.com.

The new site offers specially curated pages for customers from anywhere in the world; trusted educator pick pages from Tristan Taormino, Elle Chase and others; complete in-store event listings for events and signings; and easy-to-use filtering by materials, features and length.

Sarah Tomchesson, head of business operations for The Pleasure Chest, told XBIZ that the new look and feel of the site took more than a year in the making.

“We wanted to replicate the in-store experience with the new site,” Tomchesson said. “The product photography was really key, and we did it in-house with natural lighting. One of things that was important to us was for us to convey a certain lifestyle.”

Tomchesson noted that with each seasonal campaign, the colors of the site will change as well.

“Strong educational section components were important,” she said. “There is a lot of editorial pages on sexual education, along with feature pages involving experts in their fields.”

The Pleasure Chest has been a pleasure products retailer since 1971. It has five locations in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, as well as its flagship site.
