LOS ANGELES — Pioneering BDSM gear supplier The Stockroom will be moving to a new location that’s yet to be announced, and will host a special edition of its popular rummage sale on April 22-23.
“The Stockroom’s rummage sales have long been legendary events in Los Angeles’s kink scene, but our sale on April 22 and 23 is a very special — and somewhat bittersweet — one for us,” the company says on its website. “We’re moving from the building on Sunset Boulevard that has been our home for many years. As excited as we are about our new digs, we’ve put a lot of love into our time here. So, come by and help us say farewell.”
According to the company, it will offer more deals than usual, and the event also will feature live demos, a leather repair station and bootblacking.
“As well as adding to your toybox and your wardrobe, join us as a form of celebration: Of the years of community-building we’ve done in this location, and of all that we’ll do in the years ahead at our new location,” the company says.
“Keep watching our site and social media for an official announcement about the address.”
With more than 25 years under its belt — and more than 4,000 high-quality, unique offerings — Stockroom’s 30,000-square-foot, vertically integrated, three-story manufacturing facility, which is located on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, opened its doors in 2007.
