Grooby Takes Over Transformation Magazine's Editorial Content

LOS ANGELES — Transformation Magazine, "the world’s foremost trans publication," marks their newly released issue #101 in close collaboration with Grooby. From this point forward, the trans erotica company will be handling the magazine’s print and online editorial content with newly appointed editor, Kristel Penn.

"It is always frightening to move outside of your comfort zone, which is what I did when I appointed Kristel Penn as the new editor of Transformation, but seeing what an outstanding job she did with issue #101 I know I made the right decision,” said Transformation’s president Hanna Rogers. "She really outdid herself with this issue, packing it with beautiful photos and fascinating interviews and features, that all readers and fans are going to simply love. I'm very excited to see what Kristel does in the future, and feel confident that she will bring Transformation the fame it so deserves."

Steven Grooby added, “This seems like the perfect match. Transformation and Grooby are two of the longest running companies working with trans content and both are fantastic brands. I believe we can help build Transformation with the wealth of editorial content we can bring from writers and photographers worldwide and with Kristel as the new editor, she has a finger on the pulse of what is going on in the adult industry and the wider trans community. Transformation is already a fantastic publication and resource, but I believe readers are going to be pleasantly surprised by the planned future articles.”

Penn stated, “Although Grooby has guest edited a few Transformation issues in the past, this is our first on our own. Jeri, and now Hanna, have worked so hard to build up this brand and I consider it a great responsibility to take over as the new Editor. I've been in talks with so many talented LGBTQ writers for the road ahead and I'm excited to spread the wealth of info they've shared in the pages of the magazine. We'll be retaining many of Transformation's most celebrated features and adding in lots of fresh new content and voices to the fold.”

Transformation #101 is a star-studded awards-themed issue with 2017 TEA Best Hardcore Performer and 2017 XBIZ Trans Performer of the Year Aubrey Kate on the cover (shot by Isabel Dresler) with an in-depth personal interview with Steven Grooby, photospreads of 2017 TEA Lifetime Achievement Winners Natassia Dreams and Wendy Williams, exclusive coverage of the 2017 TEAs in Hollywood, "a touching interview" between 2016 TEA Best Internet Personality winner Becca Benz and her son, beauty tips from Isabella Sorrenti, Steven Grooby’s follow-up piece on the future of VR, readers letters and much more. Issue #101 and previous issues can be purchased directly at CenturianOnline.com.

Grooby has previously edited special issues of Transformation, including issue #97 with cover model Kylie Maria and milestone issue #100 with cover model Raquel Star. They are currently accepting bikini submissions for Transformation’s annual "Sexy Swimsuit" issue due out later this summer. They can be submitted directly to kristel@grooby.com.
