Ela Darling to Host 2017 XBIZ Cam Awards Red Carpet

Ela Darling to Host 2017 XBIZ Cam Awards Red Carpet

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that Ela Darling will host the red carpet for the 2017 XBIZ Cam Awards set for Thursday, June 1, in conjunction with the XBIZ Miami Summit Interactive Summit.

The XBIZ Cam Awards, presented by MyFreeCams, celebrates the hottest personalities and cutting-edge companies that have set today’s cam world ablaze. More than 700,000 votes have poured in so far from the international camming community to help decide winners in 16 categories.

Web star and sex columnist Jessica Wilde will host the inaugural event, which serves as the grand finale to XBIZ Miami.

Darling, an adult performer who is one of a handful of individuals who is helping shape an immersive future for adult entertainment, will help capture the moments of the awards program as red carpet host, welcoming the cam industry’s best and brightest.

"I'm so excited to host the red carpet in Miami!" Darling told XBIZ. "I love this industry, and I can't wait to talk to my favorite adult stats and professionals all dolled up on the red carpet. This is a huge honor for me and the whole CAM4VR team. See you in Miami!"

Darling, who broke into the adult biz in 2009, took on the accolade of the “World’s First Virtual Reality Cam Girl” after co-founding VRTube.xxx. Later, she struck a deal with CAM4 to offer VR to the masses under the CAM4VR stamp.

Through the years, Darling has gotten involved with the politics of porn. Just last year she was elected president of Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, which helps protect performers’ rights and tries to advance safer and more professional work environments, and has fought hard for performer rights in California.

“We are beyond thrilled to have Ela host our international guests as they walk the red carpet on June 1,” said Moe Helmy, executive producer of the XBIZ Cam Awards.

The 2017 XBIZ Miami Interactive Summit, presented by Chaturbate, will completely take over the Mondrian South Beach Hotel from May 30-June 2, where it will deliver action-packed days and sultry nights of unparalleled networking, forward-looking educational opportunities and social events in a setting combining tropical luxury with big-city amenities and ease of access.

XBIZ Miami combines a showcase of the newest tactics and technology for the digital media industry with the latest opportunities for today’s new breed of talent, producers and webmasters to offer an exceptional, high-value venue for reaching new audiences.

Among its expanded offerings, this year’s show presents a special focus on live cams, virtual reality and emerging interactive technologies, with dedicated panels featuring leading market influencers. Top cam stars Jenny Blighe, Devious Angel, FloraBella and Ramona Flour will serve as official Show Ambassadors.

Nominees of the XBIZ Cam Awards receive VIP admission, while XBIZ Miami registrants are granted general admission.
