Topco Receives 8 StorErotica Awards Noms

LOS ANGELES — Adult novelty manufacturer Topco has received eight nominations for the StorErotica Awards — one in each key category of the show.

Among others, Topco received a nom for Pleasure Products Company of the Year for the awards program scheduled July 17 during the ANME Founders Show in Burbank, Calif.

“This award is reserved for manufacturers of quality sex toys and intimate items that consumers trust, and Topco has spent this year breathing new life into the historic brand with tried-and-true products made to sell. With additional attention paid to fortifying business relationships and strengthening quality control, Topco has made a lasting impression among its industry peers this year,” the company said.

Topco also received noms for Lubricant Company of the Year and Body Care Line/Range of the Year.

The two categories shine a spotlight on Topco’s U.S.-made lab responsible for creating some of the industry’s top-selling and fan-favorite cosmetics, the company said.

“Specifically calling out Climax Elite Cosmetics, the Body Care Line/Range of the Year nomination showcases the unique line of topicals for its eclectic and forward-thinking approach to intimate care,” the company said.

A nom for New Product of the Year went to Lure Black Label — “the latest all-gender pheromone-inspired fragrance line that introduces fun and sexy enhancement to any occasion in need of a little intimate chemistry,” the company said.

For Male Pleasure Product of the Year, Topco’s Vulcan Warm series of squeezable CyberSkin strokers was nominated. And a nom also went out in the Luxury Line/Range of the Year category to Climax Elite, a sex toy and massager line that combines body-safe silicone, seamless shapes and upscale packaging designed for strong sales.

For Marketing Campaign of the Year, Topco’s Average Joe stood out as a nom for its clever and friendly approach to presenting hyper-realistic dongs to shoppers across the country, the company said.

“Known for ultra-authentic shapes and ‘typical guy’ identities, Average Joe's PR and shelf-talker campaign introduced shoppers to the dildo of their dreams with a flirty fantasy to inspire the end-sale,” the company said.

The manufacturer also received a nom for Retailer Favorite of the Year, a new category that gives stores a chance to hand-pick a company that has been instrumental to their success.

Less than a year after implementing industry veteran Autumn O’Bryan as COO, Topco has elevated itself back to top ranks with strong communication, consistency, dependability, and improved customer support – of which the industry clearly has taken note.

“It has been an honor having played a role in the uplifting of Topco as a manufacturer and industry pioneer, and receiving so many important nominations has made it worth the hard work,” said Autumn O’Bryan, the Topco exec who was handed the COO title last year.

“We have put special attention toward creating and perfecting product lines that deliver quality results not only along the supply chain but also to the end user. That has been a key part of the team’s strategy this year and we look forward to making even further strides this year.”

Voting for the 2017 StorErotica Awards is open now at StorEroticaAwards.com with ballots accepted until June 15.
