SILVER LAKE, Calif. — The Stockroom has announced that the former American Apparel building located on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Alvarado Street in Silver Lake will soon house the pioneering BDSM gear supplier’s flagship store.
“If you're local to L.A., you'll probably recognize our new address — it's the old American Apparel building on the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Alvarado St.,” the company said in an announcement. “With that said, our new store is three times the size of our current one, so we need to fill that space with new toys, new gear, and new fetish wear.”
The new store will offer a wider array of latex and leather goods from notable brands such as Vex Latex Clothing, Dark Garden Corsetry & Couture, Clare Bare Eco-Friendly Lingerie and more.
Wednesday is The Stockroom’s last day in its original location.
“Now's the time to stop by and help us say goodbye to this store that we've loved so much over the years,” the company said. “On a final note, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your continued support over the years. We appreciate you all.”
