ARLINGTON, Va. — The Woodhull Freedom Foundation is preparing for the eighth annual Sexual Freedom Summit to be held Aug. 3-6 in Virginia.
Woodhull Freedom Foundation's Sexual Freedom Summit brings together sexuality educators and researchers, professionals from the legal and medical fields, authors, sexual freedom movement leaders and organizational partners to expand and advance recognition of sexual freedom as a fundamental human right.
The event each year brings together important conversations about sexual rights.
“We are at a critical time as the pendulum of social change swings far to the right,” organizers said. “We are going to have to work hard to keep the rights we already have while working to claim those rights not yet recognized.
“Our goal at the summit is to send attendees back to their daily lives with the tools and the inspiration to create the change we want to see in our world.”
Sponsors of the three-day event include Walters Law Group, Free Speech Coalition, Chaturbate, NJOY Toys, Tantus and OVO, among others.
The summit also includes the Vicki Sexual Freedom Awards, honoring those individuals who have stood up for sexual freedoms. Past recipients include First Amendment attorney Bob Corn-Revere and sexologist Carol Queen.
Woodhull's Sexual Freedom Summit takes place Aug. 3-6 at the Sheraton Pentagon City in Arlington, Va. Summit registration is available here; hotel registration here.
