Jim Powers’ Band to Play L.A.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Fans of old-school, sing-along 1980’s-style punk music can catch director Jim Powers’ band, Killroy, Friday, April 6 at 10 p.m. at Studio Suite in North Hollywood, Calif.

The high-energy group bills themselves as “the Original L.A. Oi Band” and features multiple award-winning director Powers on bass guitar playing all-original music.

“We’re trying to get as many whores to show up as possible,” Powers said. “That way it’s not just a bunch of 40-year-old dudes with Mohawks and homeless guys from this week’s ‘American Bukkake’ shoot.”
