SAN FRANCISCO — Pink & White Productions has announced a slew of projects and events for the month of August, including the release of Shine Louise Houston's "CrashPadSeries 8: Sex Magic," mainstream coverage of the company in Glamour, Vice and New York Times Magazine, as well as a "CrashCourse" in adult filmmaking workshop.
"The biggest news this month is the release of 'CrashPadSeries Volume 8: Sex Magic,' exclusive to PinkLabel.tv and CrashPadSeries.com members," teased a company spokesperson. "The new compilation features director Shine Louise Houston's favorite six episodes from the queer porn website's online seasons 25-28. With so much sex magic it is sure to cast its spell on you."
Pink & White Productions also celebrated CrashPadSeries.com and PinkLabel.tv being mentioned in a Glamour article examining issues of race in adult movies, while the magazine's "Summer of Sex" series spotlighted "CrashPad," explaining how "Paying for Porn Is the Feminist Way to Get Off."
Houston was also recently mentioned in New York Times Magazine as one of the top five "female porn makers" in "Why Rashida Jones Changed Her Mind About Porn." And, a Vice author wrote about how "How Lesbian Porn Helped Me Rediscover My Gay Sexuality," with content like "CrashPad" helping him to overcome past trauma and find his sexuality.
