Marques, eXtreme Restraint's online marketing representative, told XBIZ that he regularly keeps count the number of new product photos and descriptions he writes each week, and at the beginning of last month noticed his list was growing exponentially.
eXtreme Restraints President Ari Suss said that, though his company specializes in fetish and BDSM gear, the influx of new items was split equally between fetish and regular sex products. Among the top sellers are giant-sized dildos and anal plugs.
Suss said his company has grown fast since it launched in 1999 and that knowing the need for new and fresh items keeps him and his buyer on their toes, looking out for new ideas and new products.
"We look at current sex toy trends and either buy from the manufacturer or create our own version," Suss said, who is a self-proclaimed fetish enthusiast.
Suss said eXtreme Restraints also takes customer requests into consideration when scanning the adult market for new, must-have products and certainly went into overdrive this past month.
"Fifty new items in about 30 days," Suss said. "That's almost two toys a day."
Suss said Marques has done a great job keeping up with the flow.
