"Afrodite Superstar" was directed by Royalle filmmaker Venus Hottentot. Royalle said they seek to address the much-neglected audience of ethnically diverse couples.
"I wanted to create an intelligent and non-pornographic/non-exploitive sex film that features characters of color and would be uplifting instead of degrading," Hottentot said.
