"Corruption," written and directed by Cross for SexZ last year, won awards for acting, directing and writing, plus it was named "Best Movie," "Best Epic," and "Best Video" in three different adult industry awards competitions.
Performers are encouraged to contact Cross directly to set up an audition.
“We’ll still book people through their agencies, obviously,” Cross said. “But my experience is that a few of the agents have no interest in scheduling auditions for their performers. Since it doesn’t pay, they just can’t be bothered.”
Before performers make an appointment to read, however, Cross wants to emphasize the amount of effort that's in store.
“Talent need to understand before they submit for the show that this isn’t going to be like any porn feature they’ve ever worked on,” Cross said. "We shoot like a real movie, which means a lot of coverage and shooting things over and over until we get them right."
