DRMPOD, ZyloCo Launch ZyloCo.tv Download Site

SAN MARINO, Calif, — DRMPOD and Los Angeles-based gay production company ZyloCo, have launched ZyloCo.tv, a site offering downloadable scenes.

Features of the site include video previews, a talent and title search, and integration with the studio’s DVD store. Customers can login, search, click and start downloading scenes, purchasing them with prepaid tokens.

ZyloCo.tv is one of the first partnered studios to be released this month. “We have had more than 10 studios already sign up," Gold Access President Cristian Gold said. DRMPOD is part of Gold Access, which also runs other sites under the Daddy Cash label.

The DRMPOD system is based on the download-to-own model; site visitors download individual scenes to their computers and keep them. DRMPOD uses WM DRM technologies to package the files so sharing is impossible.

Unprotected downloading and rental options are also available for items where download-to-own is not needed. DRMPOD offers to integrate its DVD download product into any website, without charge, working with the webmaster to design a customized site.
