MAC Congress Sets Dates for December

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The third annual MAC Congress is set for Dec. 3-4 in Tampa Bay, Fla.

As with the previous shows, MAC Congress promises to attract the top professionals from around the world to speak on access control over the mobile web and content delivery to the mobile device, according to a show representative.

“With the exploding growth of the mobile web and the billion dollar opportunities in age appropriate content, now is the time to address these issues,” Sales Director Dan Garza said. "Finding the balance between revenue generation and social responsibility is our focus.”

A few of the other subjects covered include legal and regulatory issues, carrier guidelines, off deck and on deck distribution, content filtering, mobile advertising, key services for the future, rating structures, protecting your brand, technical requirements to take your brand mobile, search optimization, monitoring sensitive data inside and outside of the network, viral threats, establishing partnerships and licensing.

The Mobile Access Control Congress was formerly known as the Mobile Adult Content Congress.
