2nd XBIZ Berlin Conference Garners Strong Praise

BERLIN — Last week's XBIZ Berlin digital media conference has drawn positive praise from attending industry professionals, which consisted of both seasoned and new adult webmasters, content producers, talent and a wide variety of solution providers.

Presented by TrafficPartner and its family of premier industry brands, XBIZ Berlin was held at the Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel, uniting European industry leaders with global peers for learning, networking and social events. It was the second European XBIZ digital media conference held in Berlin, after a string of years in London.

Here’s what some XBIZ Berlin 2017 attendees had to say about last week’s show:

Axel Vézina, CrakRevenue: “I absolutely loved my experience at this year’s XBIZ Berlin event. It’s always a wonderful opportunity to spend more time with our business partners, affiliates, and industry peers. Indeed, we get to meet with them so rarely, which is what makes these shows so terrific. Just really getting the chance to spend a decent amount of time with our valued partners is exceptional. I also want to thank the XBIZ crew for hosting us and for giving me the opportunity to present my keynote. It was my first keynote, and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed sharing my 10 years of affiliate marketing experience in this industry with my peers. I’m already looking forward to next year.”

Gian Carlo, Bitterstrawberry, PornDoe Premium and PornDoe: “XBIZ Berlin was a perfect fit for me, as I could connect a meeting with my producers and of course spend a day at the show to meet up with esteemed clients and colleagues. For our team, it was a perfect break that gave us the chance to meet business partners in a more relaxed environment. I can say that we will definitely be back next year and that XBIZ Berlin has found a perfect place in the show circuit.”

Jack Avalanche, Traffic Pimps: “We thoroughly enjoyed this year's Berlin show as it proved to be an intimate setting to meet and catch up with many companies. The attendees appreciated how the show allowed for everyone to connect and meet without getting lost in the hustle. We're looking forward to next year already.”

Brad Mitchell, MojoHost: “XBIZ Berlin 2017 was surely a very productive trade show for MojoHost. A highly informative educational track, cozy venue and well-planned schedule were some of the most notable features of this event. It was easy to establish business relationships and enjoy the uninterrupted attention of the industry’s key figures. Quality networking is highly valuable, and XBIZ Berlin is the perfect show for that.”

Jesse Garza, Kink.com: “I really enjoyed this year’s XBIZ Berlin show. It was a intimate affair that allowed me to meet new people and partners, conduct some meetings in a more-relaxed atmosphere, and speak on a panel to a focused and attentive audience. The paysite luncheon provided a good forum — free of distractions to debate and discuss a number of issues facing the paysite industry while gaining new perspectives and ideas. I will absolutely be attending next year’s XBIZ Berlin.”

Andy Wullmer, MailPartner: "XBIZ Berlin was again a great show for me and my team. Berlin is a fantastic city and the event has a familar touch."

Jim Austin, Stripchat: “I was really impressed with the organization and execution of the XBIZ Berlin show. We made a lot of new contacts as well as strengthening of relationships with existing partners. The city of Berlin is a great location and the offsite events were awesome. Can't wait to come back next year.”

Alex Lecomte, JuicyAds: "As usual, XBIZ's tradeshow in Berlin didn't disappoint. I am very grateful for the XBIZ team to set up such a nice venue and professional environment. It was definitely quality over quantity, once again. It is a worthy investment to attend, and I am very happy that I didn't miss this opportunity."

Stinger, TrafficPartner: "This year show was a cool, cozy and a productive one. We are looking forward to the XBIZ Show in L.A. in January."

Jan Brockmann, CAM4: “XBIZ Berlin this year had a comforting and familial atmosphere, yet it was very professional. I was really impressed by a lot of the panelists the XBIZ team invited this year. Especially the panels about age verification were very enlightening.”

Brad, WebClicks: "XBIZ Berlin was a very successful show for the WebClicks team. The show was small and intimate with all the key players in the industry in attendance, which made it great to have that longer one on one conversation about business. One of our favorite parts of the event was the paysite owners sessions. These sessions put some of the top paysite owners in the same room to discuss the current state of the industry and to address the challenges the industry is facing. A big thank you to the XBIZ team for putting on such fun and successful show!"

Oren Klaus, PussyCash: "We had a great show at XBIZ Berlin. First, I think the venue was great for this kind of show ... it was very hard to miss people you wished to talk with. Second, I really liked the networking events like karaoke and the boat trip. Overall, I think the atmosphere was really cool with interesting business opportunities and quality time with [business] partners. I really enjoyed that."

Julia Grandi, Julmodels: “XBIZ turned out to be the biggest opportunity event for me and my model agency. You really get a chance to communicate with all the participants. You can start talking business during the breakfast, continue at lunch and finalize the deal at dinner. Attending XBIZ Berlin felt more like being a part of a big international family. I met some people I already knew and made a lot of new contacts, especially with invited guests from the U.S. who usually don't visit European events very often. I made a few great deals at the event and I just can't wait to start working together with people I met at XBIZ Berlin.”

Phil, ZwiePorn.com: “Every year it is an unforgettable experience and a must for every webmaster of the porn scene. Interesting lectures and meetings with old known and new faces. Looking forward to next year.”

Doru Simon, Best Studios: “We are extremely pleased with the organization of the event that combined both useful information and pleasure. The panels were very interactive. The events were well organized, focused on the communication between the participants and showed off the beautiful parts of Berlin. We are pleased with the XBIZ experience, and we will certainly be present at all the events organized in the future.”

Nick Baer: "I had a productive time at XBIZ Berlin! The host hotel front lobby and courtyard made for perfect conversation areas. Business reps attending were decisionmakers, and I gained valuable contacts. Seminars were very well attended — better than other September shows — with high-quality speakers and interaction with audience members. Everyone there was there to do business! Not a moment wasted during or after the show! The free lunch buffet mean't that the networking didn't miss a beat — or bite!"

Dave, XLoveCam: "XBIZ Berlin was an amazing show. A boat trip, speed networking, a meet market, various panels, multiple happy hours, a karaoke event ... all within several days. At XBIZ Berlin you are able to spend more time with prospective affiliates, studios, models and service providers, which is a major plus. We have left Berlin with new and stronger business relationships and a genuine love for this city which we wouldn't have if XLoveCam did not attend. See you next year, and many thanks to all the sponsors for making XBIZ Berlin an excellent show to attend."

Carlos, XLoveCam: “XBIZ Berlin was a wonderful experience. I'm sure the XLoveCam team will be back next year.”

There also was a “Meet & Greet With Paysite Owners,” along with a “Happy Hour Networking Social,” sponsored by Jul Models, and “Webmaster Karaoke,” courtesy of TrafficPartner.

There also was a speed networking session sponsored by CCBill and a “WIA Round Table” sponsored by Chaturbate.

Two special evening events also shined at XBIZ Berlin — “Berlin Boat Bash,” the sailing adventure and networking social sponsored by Traffic Pimps, FuckingAwesome.com, Jul Models and PornDoe Premium, as well the XBIZ-sponsored tour of Berlin’s famous TV tower and scenic landmark, the Fernsehturm — the tallest structure in Germany and the second tallest in all of the E.U.

Stay tuned to XBIZ.com for other important industry events, including the upcoming XBIZ Show, set for January 15-19 in Los Angeles.
