PinkCherry.com Donates $40K to Victims of Las Vegas Shooting

LAS VEGAS — PinkCherry.com has donated more than $40,000 to support victims and their families of the Las Vegas massacre.

The company, which offers consumers and retailers a one-stop shop for buying and selling adult novelties and lingerie, said that it was saddened by the shooting that claimed the lives of 58 individuals outside the Mandalay Bay hotel.

As a result, PinkCherry decided to take action in supporting the immediate and long-term needs of those impacted by the tragedy.

The company, which has a Canadian and an American online store as well as a wholesale site, donated all sales from PinkCherry.com on Friday, Oct. 6.

PinkCherry is working with the National Compassion Fund to ensure all funds are distributed directly to the victims. The National Compassion Fund provides a single, trusted way for the public to donate directly to victims of a mass crime, such as a shooting or terrorist attack.

Donations to the fund are held separately from general donations to the National Center for Victims of Crime.
