Jenna: 'I Love Hillary'

PHOENIX — In an extensive interview posted this week on PR.com, adult performer Jenna Jameson identified herself as "extremely liberal," saying " I don't like to label myself as a democrat, but I'm certainly extremely liberal."

When asked who her favorite Democratic presidential candidate was, she said, "I love Hillary. I think that in some ways she's pretty conservative for a democrat, but I would love to have a woman in office."

Jameson, who started her adult video career in 1993, said that the Clinton years were the best years for the adult industry, adding, "When Republicans are in office, the problem is, a lot of times they try to put their crosshairs on the adult industry, to make a point."

During the Clinton administration, the Justice Department made obscenity prosecutions a low priority in order to focus on other threats deemed more pressing or dangerous.

The interview also touches on Jameson's mainstream career, her new adult DVD "Janine Loves Jenna," and the reactions she gets from members of the public, ranging from supportive to hostile.
