Passionate Playground Receives U.S. Patent for Joyboxx

SEATTLE — Passionate Playground announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 9,764,878 for its Joyboxx product.

Joyboxx is the world’s only antimicrobial storage box system designed to handle sex toy products before, during and after use, according to Deborah Semer, founder of Passionate Playground, maker of the Joyboxx.

Joyboxx comes with the removable Playtray slide lock and a free mini-combo lock for the ultimate in security. A patent for Playtray is pending.

Joyboxx’s innovative system solves just about every problem associated with adult product use, Semer said. It eliminates lube stains on furniture, hides adult items securely from dust, children and pets, and it provides a hygienic and discreet vibrator charging space.

It also offers a wash-and-dry tray and keeps everything tucked away until items can be washed, she noted.

Semer said that, best of all, the entire product can be washed in the dishwasher unlike a nightstand drawer.

“Joyboxx originated from a lightbulb moment,” Semer said. “I began the production process as a scrappy bootstrapper and was overjoyed when friends from the music industry and military invested so my product line could come together and help people protect their passion.”

Scott Dantis, Williams Trading Co.’s director of sales and marketing, recently said that Joyboxx and Playtray have “completely redefined the storage and accessory categories.”

Currently available for purchase globally in black and purple, Joyboxx will soon be available in white. Also for sale only through JoyBoxx.com are different customizable parts by color so customers can literally build a Joyboxx.

The company recently added white, gold and silver to the systems’ slide lock color options; other colors include black, purple, red, pink, blue, green and gray.

The Playtray is included with Joyboxx and sold separately in black, purple, green, red, blue, pink and, coming soon, white.
