Lucas Entertainment Filming 'The Intern'

NEW YORK — Lucas Entertainment will begin taking preorders this week for "The Intern," the first sex comedy the company has produced.

The original idea came from Ben Andrews, who was inspired by films like "The Devil Wears Prada" and the TV show "Ugly Betty."

Tony Dimarco has taken the lead on the project; he wrote the script, is directing the shoot, and is doing most of the camera work and principal photography.

"I'm truly blessed to have such a talented and dedicated guy working for the company," Lucas Entertainment President Michael Lucas said. "He's incredibly creative, has an excellent eye and is a professional in many fields."

The cast includes Ben Andrews, Derrick Hanson, Jimmy, Zack Randall, Matt Cole, Ray Star, Christian Cruz, Jason Ridge and Brian Bodine.

The company also is employing the use of a blog, with the Intern Blogger.
