"That’s awesome I was the first [porn star] to do this," she told XBIZ. "I'm honored."
Naked Newscaster Alex Pantos interviewed Benz, asking her questions about her career, her efforts to become a producer and the many misconceptions that surround the adult industry.
Benz especially relished dispelling the bad image that often surrounds the adult industry.
"Not everyone does drugs," she said. "I don't do drugs, I don't drink. I also talked about how if you're smart in this business, you can last more than a year as a performer. You can build your name, you can brand yourself, and you can cross over to the mainstream if you market yourself the right way."
Naked News has interviewed erotic models and one model who had done some triple-X photo shoots, but Pantos told XBIZ that Benz is the first adult star to visit the show.
"The program has evolved," she said. "It didn't used to be as open and liberal as it is now."
The Naked News crew shot the interview with Benz, plus a few teaser trailers, all of which will only be available on their website.
Naked News covers international news stories with anchors who slowly strip down to nothing. They also offer event coverage for the Toronto area, all while trying to appeal to as wide an audience as possible.
"The news can be a real downer sometimes," she said. "And the nudity makes it more interesting and open to everybody."
