Jazmin Media's Jazmin Jones introduces viewers to six friends who meet to share cocktails and private fantasies, an entire scene being devoted to each one. Jones said she created the tales to feel, and look, authentic and raw, and that she used her own experiences chatting with friends as inspiration.
"I listen to people," Jones said. "[My husband] Marcus and I have attended a few of these types of gatherings with our own friends. My stories are about the sexuality of real people. So many directors are trying to tell the adult audience what they are supposed to be fantasizing about, but I prefer to let them tell me what really turns them on."
Each fantasy is set to an original score written especially for the mood and image of the scene, a technique unique to Jazmin Media. Jones told XBIZ that her company's focus on editing her content to synchronize with its music — soundtracks written and produced by Jones herself — is what sets Jazmin Media apart from the rest.
"We edit the sex around the music," Jones said. "The sex flows; subconsciously to the viewer, it's more erotic. It's a slow, smooth action and the end result is more sensuous."
Jones said her line, which she said features a stylized music video esthetic, fused with hardcore cinema, has proven popular in the U.K. Now with Ninn Worx, Jones is working to create a U.S. audience.
Jones only features performers who are truly intimate with each other and giving real performances, "Almost like you're not meant to be there watching," Jones said, which gives her films the voyeuristic feel of gonzo content, but without the low production value that gonzo often brings.
Jones said she spends up to four months producing each Jazmin Media title, with an entire month devoted to its soundtrack. Jazmin Media helms every aspect of the production cycle, Jones said, from concept creation to box cover design.
"We're pushing creative boundaries, pushing to the edge and crossing genres," Jones said. "There's a huge market for this."
Ninn Worx signed as exclusive U.S. distributor of Jazmin Media earlier this month.
