Stormy Daniels Announces Exclusive Contract With Digital Playground

BURBANK, Calif. — Adult star and director Stormy Daniels announced today via Instagram and Twitter that she has signed an exclusive directorial deal with Digital Playground.

The announcement by Daniels on Instagram, said, “Surprise! ... and I swear the horse on the DP logo didn't influence my decision at all.”

On Twitter, Daniels said that "typing [Digital Playground references] for the first time in my profile definitely felt strange. Still a bit sad about ending such a huge chapter but beyond excited about starting this new one."

Daniels moved over to Digital Playground after working with Wicked Pictures since 2002 as a contract performer and since 2004 as a contract director.

In her long history in the porn biz, Daniels has performed in more than 150 adult films; she also has directed more than 70 films.

She received XBIZ Awards honors in 2007 as Crossover Star of the Year and in 2016 as Director of the Year. Her recent “Unbridled” video, a romance adult feature, received Couples-Themed Release of the Year at the 2018 XBIZ Awards.

In recent weeks, the mainstream media has catapulted her name to stardom well past porn.

A report by the Wall Street Journal said that a lawyer for President Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to her a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with him.

Daniels has denied reports of any sexual involvement with Trump.
