SAN FRANCISCO — Crave wants to take its design factory across America to spark conversations about sex and pleasure as part of its 2018 Build-A-Vibe Tour, which is being supported by an Indiegogo campaign that’s coming soon.
According to the Mercury News, Crave’s latest project will allow consumers to climb aboard a vintage 1961 Airstream and build a Duet vibrator to take home for $99.
The new limited edition Duet Programmable vibrator combines the award-winning form factor of the popular Duet vibe with a web app that lets users develop custom vibration patterns and reload them on the vibrator as often as they'd like.
Crave has hosted its Build-A-Vibe bar at various locations and festivals, including the Academy of Sciences and SXSW, but now company co-founder Ti Chang is taking it on the road, Mercury News reports.
The Crave Airstream will be at this weekend’s World Nano Fair in San Francisco, and is set to make stops in Portland, Palm Springs, L.A., Atlanta, Boston and New York City.
Founded by industrial designer Ti Chang and serial entrepreneur Michael Topolovac, Crave aims to elevate product design and conversations around sexual pleasure with quality products made with body-safe materials and sustainable rechargeable power sources.
