ASACP Headed to Phoenix Forum to Share Age Verification Updates

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced its return participation in The Phoenix Forum (TPF), scheduled for March 22-25, in Tempe, Arizona.

According to its promoter, The Phoenix Forum is the premier educational and networking event for the adult business community. Offering attendees a relaxed face-to-face networking environment, TPF provides executives with opportunities to meet, learn, and share ideas with their peers.

ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning will attend the annual event, where he will discuss the vital importance of online child protection and reveal the newest information regarding a range of global initiatives aimed at mandating age verification for internet users.

Highlighting Henning’s outreach efforts, he will host an in-depth workshop on Age Verification, on Friday, March 23, from 11 a.m. until noon in the “Palm D” room of the Mission Palms. Exploring the current status of the U.K. Digital Economy Act, the session will feature DEA Regulator Murray Perkins of the BBFC, along with Digital Policy Alliance members and age verification solution providers, including Alastair Graham of AgeChecked, Michael Bolcerek of Aristotle, Robin Tombs of YOTI and Steve Winyard of AV Secure.

“This is a fast-paced topic that is continually evolving. It is therefore crucial for industry to stay current with new developments as they occur,” Henning explains. “The session will cover such topics as why the enforcement date has been delayed, when to expect enforcement to begin as well as other pertinent updates and details that matter to your business.”

In addition to hosting this timely session, Henning will play in the 14th Annual Phoenix Forum Charity Golf Tournament to benefit ASACP, an exclusive networking event presented by X2K and WebmasterGolfTour.com on Wednesday, March 21, at the Ocotillo Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. Registration for this exclusive event is now open, with spots available for Phoenix Forum attendees.

TPF host CCBill has generously provided ASACP with a Prime Sponsorship package that includes prominent courtyard and seminar hall foyer signage printing and display, plus a full-page ad in the show’s program guide, a flyer room drop, and an exhibition table at the Meet & Greet Networking Happy Hour.

Additionally, the show’s promoters provided ASACP with a room at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel, complimentary admission to the event, and a meeting room for the association’s quarterly Advisory Council and Board Meeting, on Saturday, March 24, where guest speaker Murray Perkins will give an insider’s overview of the BBFC’s role in enforcing the Digital Economy Act. For its part, ASACP is sponsoring Perkins’ hotel room stay at the Mission Palms.

As an ASACP Title Sponsor, CCBill participates on the ASACP Advisory Council, through VP Gary Jackson, a well-known industry personality representing the company and bringing compassion, experience, and wisdom to the association, helping ASACP to carry out its mission.

“ASACP has long enjoyed the generous support of TPF, CCBill, X2K and other companies committed to child protection, and is pleased to extend its own support to the industry by helping the U.K.’s AV regulator reach industry stakeholders,” Henning says. “TPF is a fabulous opportunity for the association to help bring together the adult industry’s most responsible professionals, to protect children from age-restricted materials online.”
