PITTSBURGH — SWOP Pittsburgh is calling all local sex workers, allies, advocates and supporters to attend its first public meeting tonight.
Earlier this year, organizers launched a Pittsburgh chapter of the Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP), a national network that works to protect the human rights of those involved in the sex industry and focuses on replacing the stigma and violence with education and advocacy.
The meet-and-greet event starts at 7:30 p.m. Childcare will be available. Email swop.pittsburgh@gmail.com for location.
